HydraFacial delivers the ultimate in skin rejuvenation, hydration and density. This advanced treatment delivers instant results with long-term benefits by combining skin cleansing, pore extraction, and infusions of  antioxidants and peptides, hydrating and nourishing molecules and ingredients.

  • Peptides are amino acids — molecules that make up proteins in your body. They work to support the creation of collagen, the protein that gives your skin its firmness and structure.

  • Antioxidants work to neutralize free radicals in your skin cells. Free radicals are molecules that develop after exposure to toxins, pollution, and sun damage. Left untreated, they can lead to cellular breakdown and accelerated signs of aging.

  • Collagen is the structural protein that gives our skin bounce and also makes it feel firm.

  • Lymphatic drainage expels toxins and boosts circulation to promote skin health.

  • LED light therapy trigger collagen production, relieve inflammation, and kill bacteria.

Facts and Questions

  • Is the HydraFacial the same as a microdermabrasion? No, nor is it a hydradermabrasion or wet microdermabrasion. It’s similar to microdermabrasion in that it exfoliates and opens up pores.

We love Microdermabrasion it is a nice exfoliation treatment, but the goal is to remove much of the stratum corneum and in some places that is a good goal, but you need to seriously ask yourself if that is what you need and how often. HydraFacial doesn’t use abrasive crystals to exfoliate, instead it uses patented vortex/suction technology and a light chemical peel to gently exfoliate. Because of this, it’s perfect for scheduling every 2,3, or 4 weeks. Scheduling is a personal decision and depends on what your goals are. It is also perfect for pre treatments such as laser work or a serious peel… for more satisfying results. Always be upfront and honest with your intentions, aestheticians and dermatologist prefer and enjoy to collaborate, to keeping you safe.

  • Who should get a HydraFacial?   HydraFacial is generally safe for all skin types. However, there are a few exceptions. If you have sunburn, rosacea, or an active skin rash, you need to wait for those conditions to subside before scheduling a HydraFacial. If you are pregnant, please let your provider know so we can modify the treatment accordingly and select products more suitable for pregnant women. we do not recommend this treatment if you are pregnant or nursing. Please wait to be treated till you are clear from active acne (one or two pimples are okay!), are fighting active infections such as herpetic lesions, staph infection, etc., and/or have couperose skin with many large and visible capillaries.

  • Can you have a HydraFacial if you have injectables like Botox or fillers? It is best to get the HydraFacial first, it will benefit the skin and procedure by prepping the skin prior to any injectable. If you recently received a filler then wait at least two weeks for a HydraFacial.

  • How much does a HydraFacial cost?  This popular non-invasive treatment is not as expensive as other cosmetic or facial procedures. Typically, the cost of a HydraFacial ranges between $199 and $350.

  • How long do desired results last?  HydraFacial treatments will remove dead skin cells and reveal a healthy-looking complexion. These results can last for a month or so. To maintain the desired results, you should schedule a regular HydraFacial session, which is typically every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the overall environment, or condition of your skin as well as your preference. Each client has a catered and adjustable program.

  • Does the treatment hurt?   HydraFacial is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that delivers immediate results with no discomfort.

Most of our clients will agree that the HydraFacial is a painless procedure. It does not hurt at all, but is extremely effective in correcting skin impurities. There is no downtime either, so our clients can go back to usual activities right after the treatment.

  • What are the side affects of a HydraFacial? Most people can go back to their daily life with no side effects. If you have very sensitive skin or allergies, talk to your aesthetician before the procedure and they can adjust the machine, you may experience redness or blotchiness, so a day or two of downtime for the redness to subside may be desired. If you have a big event to attend and this is your first appointment then beware of these possibilities.

There are some who will experience drying and flaking skin, most likely because of the peel component. To avoid peeling and excessive dryness, keep your skin hydrated and make sure you are not using a retinol, retin-A or other skin exfoliant before or after treatments.

If you experience peeling, tell your esthetician so they can make adjustments for next time, using a lower percentage of AHA/BHA acids or omitting the peel altogether.

Some have reported acne breakouts following a HydraFacial, this is most likely due to the skin purging which takes time. The satisfaction rate is in the high 90’s% and is due to their skin looking hydrated and radiant, with a more even skin tone (especially if you’ve opted for an add-on designed to address hyperpigmentation…).
